She has a book coming out in 2027 about the history of women, weaving, and myth. She talked about the three stars of Orion’s belt and that many cultures (other than Greece) saw those three stars as those of a woman’s distaff, the tool of her financial independence. She likened fairy tales like Sleeping Beauty — in which the king had every spinning wheel destroyed — as a way of illustrating a key step in the downfall of women’s rights. 00:57:27 laurie rae: Reacted to "Last week, I connect..." with ❤️ 01:01:37 laurie rae: I feel we’re ALL regaining our Words to communicate where we want to go, forward, post lockdowns etc we’ve been through - and doing so MORE within Community / Humanity, going forward 01:11:56 Michelle Burns: Reacted to "I feel we’re ALL reg..." with ❤️ 01:12:00 Michelle Burns: Reacted to "Last week, I connect..." with ❤️ 01:14:57 Clarissa C: That song always makes me cry too 01:15:01 Zita Christian: And the word for dream — then spelled d-r-e-m-e-m — meant to dream the way we know the word, but it also meant “to make music.” 01:16:50 Genevieve Chavez Mitchell: Reacted to "namaste" with ♥️ 01:17:24 Genevieve Chavez Mitchell: Reacted to "That song always mak..." with 👍🏽 01:38:08 laurie rae: 💖💖💖 01:38:40 Camille Sun: So beautiful - thanks for sharing. ❣️ 01:38:55 Lisa: Beautiful 01:38:56 Clarissa C: Thank you so much!
